The Berlin British School is a private school, subject to tuition fees.
Our highly qualified British, German and international staff are experienced, caring, and deeply committed to the development of the whole child.
Small class sizes, close individual monitoring, and the maintenance of rigorous academic standards in a caring but disciplined setting are the distinguishing features of a BBS education.
The school is based on three sites with facilities appropriate to each age group:
Early Years Kita site at Havelchaussee – with a programme of structured learning for ages 2-5 (Toddlers, K1, K2)
Primary School and K3 Kita site at Dickensweg – specialist teaching facilities for ages 6 to 11 (Grades 1-5)
Secondary School site Am Postfenn – for ages 12 to 18 (Grades 6-12) leading to the International Baccalaureate Diploma. The IBDP is often described as the gold standard of international education and is recognised by universities worldwide, including Germany, UK and USA.
