In a small corner of Charlottenburg, Y5 pupils congregate, cycle helmets on heads, to learn the rules of the road. The aim is ensure they become familiar with a range of traffic situation from negotiating building works, one way streets, roundabouts to junctions with traffic lights and teachers wandering across roads. Although the lessons are targeted at safe cycling they also encourage pupils to become road aware and hence considerate pedestrians.

The sessions offer an introduction to the pupils and we encourage them to practise their skills under parental supervision between sessions.
