Paris Maths Trip

We’ve just landed back from Paris! The 28 students from years 9, 10 and 11 were superb representatives of the school.

After an early start on Sunday we were on our way and after a short plane then coach ride we made it to our hotel. The afternoon was spent exploring the park and getting familiar with it before the challenges the following day. The conference on Monday had around 300 students in attendance and the BBS group got stuck in with solving the challenges set by the speakers. In the afternoon, students completed quiz questions based on the park itself. Tuesday we first headed to central Paris to “cité des science et de l’industrie” to look at the maths exhibit and visit the planetarium. A trip to Paris wouldn’t be complete without a walk along the Seine towards the Eiffel Tower!

The trip was a success and enjoyed by all!
