International Day

The day started off with a costume parade at Primary School, then all the children visited other classes for a range of activities relating to the different countries represented by the year groups. From making maracas used in salsa music typical of Cuba in Year 2, to making wonderful Venetian Carnival masks in Year 6, everyone was kept interested and busy during the morning.

In the afternoon, we all visited Secondary School and had an amazing time sampling a huge range of international foods, joining in the dancing led by representatives from the African community in Berlin, and relaxing in the UAE tent, set up in the Maths room.

Many thanks to all the parents and teachers who worked so hard to make this a special and memorable day for all our students.
